Day 4 - After breakfast, we depart for a free day in the beautiful village of Kinsale, which is full of shops, restaurants, a harbor and is surrounded by 2 historical forts. We will visit the serene Garden of Remembrance.
Overnight at the Imperial Hotel Cork.

Day 5 - Cork - Blarney - Killarney - Today we visit the enchanting Blarney Castle, where you may receive the gift of eloquent speech by kissing the famous Blarney Stone. OR you can choose to walk the beautiful parkland, visit the horse cemetery, the standing stones, shop at the Blarney Woolen Mills, or have lunch at the Stables. We continue on to Killarney .
Overnight at the International Hotel in Killarney.

Day 6 - Begin your day with a classical jaunting car ride through the stunning scenery of the Killarney National Park, ending our journey at the Muckross House Gardens. We will continue to the “Ladies View” (named for Queen Victoria’s visit to Ireland) and take in the view of the Lakes of Killarney from above. Free time this afternoon.

Day 7 - Today we travel through some of the most magnificent scenery in Ireland, including Slea Head, to reach the Dingle Peninsula. The population of only 1500 people is ready to welcome you to the shops, the restaurants, the church, the harbor, the crystal makers, the jewelers…It’s a lovely village! We will also enjoy a visit to the newly remodeled Blasket Island Centre, which tells the story of the literary tradition and of island life prior to the evacuation of the Blaskets in November of 1953.
Overnight International Hotel Killarney

Day 8 - Killarney - Ennis - As we travel north toward Ennis, we will make a memorable stop in the charming town of Listowel (close to where our Bridie grew up) to visit the legendary John B. Keane Pub. Steeped in literary history, this traditional Irish pub was once the home and writing haven of playwright and author John B. Keane. We’ll have a bit of craic maybe even a bit of storytelling. As we continue on our way we will call in at the opulent Dromoland Castle for an elegant Afternoon Tea (for a bit of fun, don’t forget to pack your fascinator!) in this 16th century castle. (there will definitely be a music / pub visit this night for any and all who are interested)
Overnight Old Ground Hotel Ennis

Day 9 - Today we travel through the scenic countryside of County Clare. First stop is a brief visit to Brigid’s Well, nestled in a tranquil and spiritual site just outside Liscannor. We continue on the the magnificent Cliffs of Moher for a stroll along the clifftop, where we may or may not hear a harpist, accordianist, piper - depending on the day. Finally a few hours of relaxed traditional music and storytelling over wine and appetizers isn the Doolin Music House.
