I am researching the most gorgeous places for a May 2013 tour itinerary including some highlands, some islands....a walk on the Royal Mile. A trip to Stirling, which comes alive with history, castles & gardens, a distillery or two, and perhaps a visit to Robert Burns' Scotland.
